This scene was inspired by the Sloth scene from the movie se7en. I modeled and textured all of the assets from references. I then imported all of the assets into the UDK game engine and lit the scene.
After importing all of my assets and building the scene in UDK, I created the matinees and rendered out a cinematic.

I wanted to make the room feel lived in, so I piled trash against the corners of the room and against objects to create what the inhabitant used as a path to get around the room. Fallen air fresheners and used syringes add to the chaos and the dirty feeling of the room.
Dirty Old Mattress
This asset is the centerpiece of the room. The room is a dirty mess, I chose to make the mattress just as dirty.
